The e-publishing industry was bound to grow slowly and steadily even during recession and considering this fact, the university has grabbed the chance to start a course in e-publishing when it was offered. It is a welcome move that the Confederation of Indian Industry (Southern Region) has rightly accredited the industry approved Curriculum and syllabus for E-publishing which is to be offered by the university with the world class infrastructure in the four centres. The B.Sc Degree in E-Publishing is offered by our university for the first time in the whole of India. Online learning, virtual class room, uniform quality of education from experienced faculty and convenient time to learn by the working professionals across the country are added advantages which will make the courses a grand success.

In the next three years, nearly 20,000 job opportunities would be created in the e-publishing industry and hence, all placement assistance to the students will be an additional boon. We do things differently and that makes us innovators. I am sure these programmes will be a total success and many more such programmes will be introduced so that the People's University may grow from strength to strength.

The MOU also signed with Digiscape- the premier Adobe learning centre in terms of knowledge sharing, adds colour to our march towards Digital Revolution.
